A Unique Website for a Unique Event
The inaugural Irish International Fashion & Food Summit (IIFFS) will take place in Sligo on November 3rd to 5th. It is a unique fusion of shared values from both worlds, from inspiration, creativity, individuality, to starting a business and achieving commercial success. For the first time in Ireland we are bringing together national and international industry leaders in both disciplines to openly discuss the future of fashion & food from inspiring creativity to the basics of good business practice. This is an opportunity for attendees to interact with industry elite and network with their peers.
The Food Series is an intimate programme of talks, panel discussions and events by Irelands leading
chefs, food writers, critics & producers. The diverse and inclusive programme will explore the current status of Irish Cuisine on a world stage and examines the use of traditional Irish ingredients and cooking methods in contemporary Ireland. It will honestly assess how to promote Irish Cuisine and produce in the international market. This is an event for industry professionals and food enthusiasts alike.
Designers will have the unprecedented opportunity to sell to national and international buyers in our trading rooms without having to leave Ireland. In order to exploit these potential business opportunities we are running a free business planning workshop in conjuction with Sligo LEO in September to assist designers in creating a business strategy.
Guests will experience the excitement and glamour of a Milan or Paris style designer fashion show in an avant-garde setting combing the best of Irish designers, hair stylists and make-up artist to create a fashion event never before seen in Ireland.
The aim of the website is to inform and to sell tickets for the unique event. This is the first year for this event so the website has to do many tasks.
The website is supported by a social media campaign and a regular press campaign on printed media.
The summit is bringing two elements together – fashion and food. It is a brave and unique idea and the website aims to bring these two elements together.
We wish to educate the possible customers on how the summit will benefit them and also encourage them to buy tickets.
We also want to make the process easy.
We do this by providing information on the speakers and the talks themselves.
There’s no point in trying to sell if the customer doesn’t know what they’re buying!
We provide an easy to use purchasing system which makes the purchase a stress free experience.
We have information on where to stay and easy to use links to enable them to book rooms.
We had a lot of tasks to achieve in this website and we are confident that we’ve done this job as the summit is taking off.
