Shevaun Doherty is an artist.
She lives in Kildare working full-time as an artist and art tutor. She exhibits regularly in Ireland and internationally, and have won many awards for her work (View My CV).
Teaching allows her to share her enthusiasm for nature and art.
She travels extensively giving workshops and demonstrations, (See WHAT’S ON) and feels immensely proud when she sees her students master a technique.
As well as running her own online course, she is a tutor for the SBA DLDC, the very course that started her on her journey.

Shevaun Doherty runs an on-line course through the website
Botanical Elements Course is based on the seven elements of art – LINE, SHAPE, TONE, FORM, COLOUR, TEXTURE, SPACE and shows you how to successfully apply these elements to contemporary botanical painting.
The course consists of six modules, each based around an element, with easy to follow notes, exercises to help you develop your skills, and an assignment that allows you to apply the techniques learned. You will be given a detailed written critique on each completed assignment, pointing out your strengths and any areas for improvement
